CHART 2024
Look forward to August 29th – September 1st at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, when CHART opens its doors to this year’s art fair. The program offers a variety of exhibitions, talks, a book fair, and an extensive public program with events in the courtyards of Charlottenborg featuring music, performances, architecture, and installation artworks.
ART FAIR
This year, CHART welcomes you to experience presentations from 36 galleries from all over Scandinavia, showcasing works by more than 150 artists. Among the highlights are a large-scale new sculpture by the Danish artist Nina Beier, a presentation of works by the Greenlandic artist Inuuteq Storch, who is representing Denmark at the Venice Biennale in 2024, as well as works by the French artist Sophie Calle and the American sculptor Tony Matelli.
PUBLIC PROGRAM
The tradition of a generous public program continues with performances and music in the courtyards of Charlottenborg, making CHART a celebration of art in the heart of Copenhagen. Additionally, for the fourth time, you can experience the CHART Book & Print Fair, which takes place in the old Assembly Hall at Charlottenborg. The book fair creates a unique meeting place between the independent Nordic publishing scene and the more established art world of galleries, collectors, and museums.
Last but not least, CHART presents a large-scale architectural pavilion in Charlottenborg’s courtyard to celebrate 10 years of CHART Architecture.
INFORMATION
Talks, performances, and events in Charlottenborg’s courtyards are free for everyone to attend—other parts of the program require a ticket to CHART 2024.
