Thick & Thin

Join us for the finissage and the last day with the exhibition Thick & Thin, where you can experience artist Simon Dybbroe Møller participating in a live therapy session with psychologist Dr. Debbie Quackenbush.

The talk will take place Sunday 11 August, 15.00-16.00 and is in English. Before and after the talk, it is possible to see the exhibition one last time, and after the event we will serve a glass of bubbles.

There is free entry to the event after paid admission to Kunsthal Charlottenborg. No registration is required to participate in the event, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the participants:

Simon Dybbroe Møller is a professor at the School of Sculptors at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. He has studied visual arts at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main and lived and worked in Berlin and New York until he moved back to Denmark in 2019. Simon Dybbroe Møller has had solo exhibitions in Denmark and abroad, and is right now displaying his solo exhibition Thick & Thin at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, which is the most comprehensive presentation of his practice to date and which shows works from the mid-2000s until today.

Debbie Quackenbush, Ph.D. received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Utah. She is published in the areas of human sexuality and cybertherapy. She has extensive experience working with a variety of problems and population including: stress, depression, anxiety, life transition, addiction, and divorce. She has experience with chronic mental illness, as well. Dr. Quackenbush’s in Private Practice in Copenhagen, Denmark. She was most recently a Psychologist at the renowned Menninger Clinic, in Houston, Texas.
