CHART 2025
Join us when CHART brings together leading galleries, artists, arts professionals, and art enthusiasts in the heart of Copenhagen to celebrate the best of the Nordic art scene.
At Charlottenborg, a curated selection of contemporary art from the most influential galleries in the Nordic region is presented, accompanied by an extensive public programme featuring talks, performances, and music.
For the first time in 2025, CHART will introduce a total installation inside the historic courtyards at Charlottenborg, setting the scene for guests arriving to the art fair. After 10 years of CHART Architecture, an annual open-call competition to design temporary pavilions at Charlottenborg during the fair, CHART launched a new initiative earlier in the spring: CHART Public. This new format invited teams of scenographers, designers, architects and artists to re-imagine the courtyards as an ambitious artistic installation.
Re-Route by architect Samuel Charles Barrett (UK) was selected as the winning proposal for CHART Public 2025. The installation will consist of a floating installation of hundreds of illuminated traffic cones – presented as luminous symbols of community and celebration. ReRoute will also act as an immersive social environment and provide staging for a series of performance artworks and live music during CHART, including performances by celebrated artists such as Cecilia Fiona (DK) and Kim Mejdahl (DK).
