MFA Degree Show 2014, 24 May – 17 August 2014

Kunsthal Charlottenborg and the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ Schools of Visual Arts take great pleasure in presenting the MFA Degree Show 2014.

A degree show can be seen as a presentation of the latest talents within the world of visual arts, but should equally be regarded as a look back at the educational and developmental process that has preceded the exhibition.

This year, a total of 35 graduates will present works that involve a wealth of visual media and art genres, including video, painting, and sculpture as well as texts, performance art, and interventions in the public space. The focal points of the artworks range from the personal and psychological to politics onwards to the insights generated by working process and to the social and architectural characteristics of the exhibition space.

Absalon Kirkeby, Ahmad Siyar Qasimi, Amitai Romm, Ana Pavlovic, Anders Bøge Henriksen, Annarosa Krøyer Holm, Anne Mette Schultz, Arendse Krabbe, Benny Henningsen, Birk Bjørlo, Carolina Wiehe Welroos, Claus Haxholm, Damir Avdagic, Emile Sadria, Emilie Kjær, Gisa Pantel, Jon Erik Nyholm, Jonas Frederiksen, Kari Storø, Maja Moesgaard, Malwina Magacz, Markus von Platen, Martin Enggaard Pedersen, Matilde Duus, Morten B.
