Guidelines for your visit
From 1 August 2021 corona passes and face masks are no longer required when visiting Kunsthal Charlottenborg.

Disabled access
Charlottenborg has a lift and toilets for disabled persons.

Photography
You are allowed to take photos without flash, but for non-commercial use only. For professional photos with flash you need permission from the administration at Kunsthal Charlottenborg. Permission is granted for the press by showing press id. We take no responsibility for copyright law permissions between artist and photographer. All pictures on our website are © Kunsthal Charlottenborg.

Guided tours

At Kunsthal Charlotteborg we are pleased to arrange guided tours for groups, companies, classes and others of interest during our normal opening hours.

Price exclusive admission
Tuesday – Friday: 600 DKK
Weekdays after 5pm, weekends and holidays: 700 DKK
School classes: 450 DKK

Public transportation

Kunsthal Charlottenborg is close to both several bus lines and a metro station making it easy to reach us via public transportation. You can use one of the following transport options:

Metro: Lines M1, M2, M3, M4 to “Kongens Nytorv” metro station
Bus: Lines 23, 26 to “Kongens Nytorv”

Art Cinema

Charlottenborg Art Cinema is Kunsthal Charlottenborg’s cinema found at our mezzanine on the 1st floor. The cinema programme is put together by different curators – both exterior and from our own organisation. The film screenings are free when admission for the kunsthalle has been payed.

Bookshop

Our bookshop, Charlottenborg Art Books, which can be found at the entrance, offers a selection of publications of with both breadth and depth. We sell publications related to the current exhibitions at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, but also present a large selection of publications on primarily art, but also design and architecture. From the art book with broad appeal to the narrow artist publication.

 

Apollo Bar

Apollo Bar & Canteen are Kunsthal Charlottenborg’s bar and dining place by chef Frederik Bille Brahe. From Tue-Fri you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or an exciting dinner or just a cup of coffee, a glas of wine or a drink at the bar next to the court yard.
